Blackwell House Fires - Monday, March 8, 2010
BLACKWELL FIREFIGHTERS work to protect the melting exterior of an occupied residence, while behind them an adjacent vacant house burns to the ground early this morning in the 1000 block of West Bridge Street. A third home also suffered extensive damage to one exterior side. First reported at 1:45 a.m., the blaze started in the vacant house which previously had a suspicious fire several months ago. Cause of this fire is under investigation but is deemed suspicious as there were no utilities to the property, according to Fire Chief Tom Beliel. No injuries were reported. A NEWKIRK MAN died after the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and rolled one-half time at 8:06 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Pecan Road and Gate Road. Video #1: Accident For more information see the front page of The Ponca City News - Click Here Injury Accident - Saturday, February, 27, 2010 RESCUE PERSONNEL carry an accident victim to a waiting EagleMed helicopter for transport to OSU Medical Center in Tulsa Saturday evening. The unidentified man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident, first reported at 10:08 p.m., on Old River Road about one mile south of Sherwin in the McCord area of Osage County. Another man with head injuries was able to walk to a nearby residence. He was transported by ambulance to Ponca City Medical Center. Both men are believed to have been passengers, according to rescuers, in the pickup truck which left the roadway and crossed a field before rolling over. South 7-Mile Road. First reported at 2:33 a.m., firefighters worked
the blaze in the area of the attached garage and attic areas above,

Fire Destroys Home - 98 Elmwood
Ponca City — Ponca City Fire Department responded to a house fire at 98 Elmwood at 2:21 a.m. Friday. Ponca City Energy and ONG were notified to shut off utilities to the house and Red Cross was advised. All units were back in service at 7:35 a.m. The Fire Marshal was on the scene to investigate. The house was deemed a total loss, estimated at $250,000, including contents. No injuries were reported.

House Fire - January 13, 2010
Ponca City — Video of house fire Wednesday night fire at a residence at 312 South Lincoln Street, crews from the Fire Department and the Fire Marshal responded about 9:30 p.m. The the home was vacant and without utilities. The structure suffered heavy damage from the fire.
