Truck Hits House - 1101 North Pine Street
Ponca City Police continue their investigation
today after a pickup truck crashed into a home in the 1100 block of
North Pine Street at 3:16 a.m. The homeowner said the woman who was
driving the truck left the scene on foot.

Two Vehicle Collision - 1504 East Prospect
Ponca City firefighters remove the windshield
from a 2012 Buick SUV in order to extricate James Laughlin, age 85,
of Ponca City, after a two vehicle collision 11:26 a.m. Monday at
1504 East Prospect. Laughlin reportedly pulled his vehicle out of a
dry cleaners business and struck an eastbound 2004 Lincoln driven by
James D. Davis, 79, also of Ponca City, according to police
spokeswoman Sherry Bowers. Davis and passenger Doris Davis, 77, were
struck by deploying airbags and indicated they would seek medical
treatment. Laughlin suffered head injuries and was transported to
Ponca City Medical Center for treatment. He was not wearing a
seatbelt and was cited for failure to yield.
