Ponca Bowl is a 24 lane Bowling Center. The center host
children's and adult birthday parties, corporate/company events, fundraiser
tournaments, open play and league bowling. Glow Bowling every Friday/Saturday
night. Ponca Bowl offers free lessons to all youth bowlers during parties and
free practice sessions with certified coaching. Youth league bowlers earn
scholarship money while participating in our Grand Prix Program.
Ponca Bowl is located east of 14th St. on Lake Road in
Ponca City.

Swimming & Water Fun
- Ambucs Pool 601 S. 6th - Maple Between 6th
& 7th
The Pool is open daily from 1:00 -7:00 p.m. with the exception of
Wednesdays. Admission is $1 for children under 12 and $2 for
anyone older. Swimmers must wear a bathing suit; street clothes
are not acceptable. Large inflatable's are prohibited. A
concession area is not available. For more information contact
the Park and Recreation Department at 767-0432. Senior Swim and
Lap Swim M-T-Th-Fri-Sat 11:45 AM–12:45 PM
NOTICE: Afternoon Open Swim – Ambuc Pool will only be open on
weekends starting August 8th thru September 7th.
Adult/Senior Swim – Every Saturday the Ambuc Pool will be
available for lap swim from 11:20-12:30. Starting August 10th
the pool will be available for evening lap swim from 5:00-6:30pm
on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday thru Labor Day (no noon
lap swim). For additional information contact the Park and
Recreation Department at 767-0432.

Some of the activities include Wild Water Waves, River Coaster
Wild Water Ride, Blue Banana, the Challenge and the Twister
slides, the Lazy River, a Tanning Bay, Kiddie Cove, there is a
mini-golf course, go-cart track and Kiddie-Land. Aside from all
this there are three picnic pavilions that offer amenities for
groups. The picnic area also has two sand volleyball courts, a
basketball hoop shooting court, floor shuffleboard, horseshoes,
children play areas and cooking grills. Inside the facility
there is a souvenir shop, game arcade, and snack bar. Sun 'n Fun
is open from mid-May through Labor Day. From the last class day
of the Ponca City public schools until classes resume in August,
the park is open every day from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Pool Is Presently Under Construction And Will Not Be Open
For Summer-2008
Wentz pool is open daily from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. with the exception of
Mondays. This year an evening swim has been added to the
schedule. On Wednesday evenings the pool is open until 9 p.m.
Admission is $1 for children under 12 and $2 for anyone older.
Swimmers must wear a bathing suit; street clothes are not
acceptable. Large inflatable's are prohibited. A concession area
is available. For more information contact the Park and

The YMCA of Ponca City

Some of the activities at the YMCA include basketball,
racquetball, exercise facilities, youth and adult sports
leagues, before and after school child care program, summer day camp
program and youth center. The Y has completed a new fitness addition and
renovated facilities.
Open
Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
